Royal Pavilion

The Royal Pavilion was built for King George V1 and used also by Queen Victoria and William 1V. Originally a farmhouse it was transformed by John Nash between 1815 and 1823 into the Indian style. A major restoration has been undertaken to show off the Regency splendour. The centerpiece is the Banqueting room with a large chandelier and table fully laid in silver –gilt. Visitors can tour the complete building and visit the Music room , bedrooms, kitchen and see the fine collection of furniture on display. There is a coffee shop and museum shop.
