Brighton apartment

Brighton hotels

Brighton, technically called Brighton & Hove, is an exciting seaside town on the south coast of England. The city is about 50 miles outside of London so you can easily get there by rail in under an hour. Brighton is small enough to let visitors feel that they are really a part of the city, yet large enough to offer plenty of things to do regardless of how long they plan to stay. And if you want to experience Brighton like a local rather than a holiday maker, staying in a Brighton apartment will help you to get that feeling. Not only will you stroll along the pebble beach as most do, you also can stroll through your neighborhood, finding your favorite place to read a newspaper and have a coffee, or picking your local pub.

An area of Brighton that offers many holiday flats is Hove, a genteel section of what is now officially Brighton & Hove. The area has plenty of high-end shops, good restaurants and a lively nightlife. No flat in the area is far from the seafront. And for those interested in sport, the Sussex County Cricket Club is in Hove along with the county cricket ground.

North Laine and The Lanes offer visitors sections of the city centre that are known for their trendy shops and retro chic feel. If you like shopping at independent shops, this part of Brighton may have more independent shops than any other section of the south coast. Ranging from antiques and jewelry to vegan clothing and designer fashions, there is something for everyone in this part of town. Stay in The Lanes if restaurants and cafes along with jazz clubs and buskers are what interests you. If you are more interested in art studios and shopping, North Laine might be exactly right for you.

For those looking for a more alternative holiday, Kemptown is a section of Brighton where you may want to rent your flat. Kemptown has a very cosmopolitan feel and is popular with the arty set. Once considered a "seedy" part of town, Kemptown is now a very popular destination. The area is full of comedy theatres, blues clubs, music studios, and art galleries. Chances are your neighbors will be gay, activists, writers, artists, or musicians - or a combination of them! In Kemptown, you'll find it hard to have a dull holiday.

Regardless of where you stay, your holiday flat will be close to the seafront and all that the city has to offer. Brighton's beautiful pebble beach, world-class restaurant and bar scene, and more traditional attractions will keep you busy during your stay, and will give you memories that you will cherish for a lifetime.
